Best cover that’s not too bulky for everyday use

I don’t need heavy-duty aluminum or powered retractables. I’m looking for something lighter that still looks clean, doesn’t flap around, and can survive rain and sun. A tri-fold style seems best, but I don’t want one that sticks up too high or rattles. Anyone found something that feels refined but still simple?

I’ve had great luck with the trifecta bed cover from Extang. It’s a soft tri-fold but doesn’t feel cheap at all — the fabric is tight, the stitching is solid, and the whole cover sits low-profile so it doesn’t ruin the truck’s lines. The latches are quick to operate, and they hold firmly without the annoying slack that many soft covers develop over time. I’ve had mine through multiple Midwest rainstorms and a couple snow dumps, and it held tight and kept the bed dry. It’s also easy to fold forward and secure when I’m loading big stuff. What I like most is that it looks clean and professional, not like a tarp strapped down with bungee cords. If you want simple function with some polish, this one fits the bill without going overboard.
