Intakes, Surrenders, Found/Dumped Animals
** We sincerely apologize, but our intake is currently closed. **
At this time, we do not have the capacity to take in any additional dogs.
We know how difficult it can be to witness an animal in need, and we wish we could help every one of them. We are committed to saving lives, but as a foster-based, non-government-funded rescue, our resources, funding, and foster homes are limited. This means we must prioritize cases based on the resources available to us. We truly appreciate your understanding, advocacy and support for animals in need.

Important Note:
This page is NOT for those looking to rehome their adopted Anna’s Angels Dog. If you need help with your adopted AADR dog, please email helpteam.aadr@gmail.com, and see our Rehome Process HERE. Dogs adopted from Anna's Angels Dog Rescue must be returned to us if they can no longer stay in their current home. We accept dogs back into our care, ensuring they receive the support they need.
Additional Resources
While we wish we could help every animal, the reality is that resources, funding, and foster availability limit our capacity. Please also consider these alternatives:
-
Local Shelters & Humane Societies: Contact organizations in your area for support.
-
Rehoming Platforms: Try tools like Rehome by Adopt-a-Pet to connect pets with loving homes.
-
Fundraising for Care: Raising funds can open more opportunities for care and placement.

Behavioral Eligibility
We wish we could help every animal, but unfortunately, we may not be able to take in pets with certain behaviour issues. Safety is a top priority. Dogs must be behaviourally sound, with no history of biting humans or attacking pets.
Foster Commitment
We can only intake dogs if you are able to foster the dog indefinitely until adoption and can transport within Silsbee, Lumberton, & Beaumont areas.
We do not have alternative foster homes or placements available for the dog.
Cats
We are a Dog Rescue only and unfortunately, we cannot intake cats or other animals.
Vaccine Requirements
All dogs need up-to-date vaccinations (not sourced from feed stores).
We can provide these vaccines, but the dog must meet up with a member of our team or partner vet clinic, and official vaccination records must be presented to rescue .
Transportation
We do require you have a means of transportation. This is essential for meet ups with the team, appointments, meet-and-greets, emergencies and drop off to transport.
